Learning you have prostate cancer: questions you may want to ask

Being told that you have got cancer can be a life changing event. There is no right way to feel, and everyone reacts differently.

Our friends and partners at The Prostate Project, a Surrey based charity (prostate-project.org.uk), have produced a helpful guide to questions you might want to ask when you get your diagnosis. They recommend, where possible, to take your partner, a family member, or a friend with you when you go for a consultation. This is because it may not be easy to remember everything that is said.

Prostate Cancer UK also has a very helpful wellbeing section to support you in looking after your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. You can find it by clicking here.
